Sneakers X Sneakers is coming around for a third time on Sept. 1st at Nashville Center Stage in Nashville, TN. I attended the first two and both events were dope. I'm mean... what's iller than an event for sneakers and music? "The popular Nashville event, Sneakers X Speakers, is returning to Music City for Round 3. Through the passion for sneakers and love for music, the SXS team has prepared a third helping that is set to turn Nashville, TN upside down. Round III is already turning heads as the lineup (so far) includes the likes of "The Kush God" Smoke Dza, Scotty ATL Alabama emcee KD, Rie$, Hollyweerd, The GTW, Righchus, Isaiah Rashad, P.A. Lit, Miloh Smith, Kembe X, Mach Five, Kaby, Petty, Rikki Blu, Ahmad Rashad, and Saddi Sundiata, Future the Artist, Just Thoughtz, Ducko Mcfli, Gee Slab, and Case Arnold. Taking place, September 1 at local venue, Center stage, Sneakers X Speakers is set to feature some of your favorite music and mix it with some of the hottest vendors and sneaker lovers from around the region.
Just when you thought things could not get any bigger for this years #SXSR3 you thought wrong! #Hooping4Lupus is to raise awareness of the disease that is Lupus and the nonprofit organization Soles4Souls. #Hooping4Lupus will be held at Resvoir Park which is located off 8th avenue at 11 am, and will be played by Nashville’s up and coming independent artist, producers, and bloggers. Players included: Petty, Stan, Sofa Brown, Loco, Rikki Blu, Case Arnold, Maticlee, J Dot, The Photographer JP PA Lit, DJ Hybrid, Young Quael, Chuck Taylor, Fred the producer, Openmic, Mr. AB, Case Arnold, Blaze da Future and DQH.#Hooping4Lupus will be coached by Dllisha Davis from 2lsonacloud and another special guest! This years host is none other than The Joe Major. DJ CJdakidd will be providing the sounds as always! This will be a FREE event for all ages a few hours before #SXSR3!
